The car is Supercharged with the complete Basch Supercharger system. This is the later version of the system using the Paxton NOVI 2000 Supercharger unit. You may know these superchargers are not the self contained type, ut utilize the engine's synthetic oil which has always been run in the engine. Meaning less maintenance and superior durability and reliability. The factory computer is barely up to the task of running a supercharged engine, t has been done but it's not worth risking therefore This one has a tuned AEM EMS after market engine management . Peole who run original ECU with these Superchargers may have had some issues but with this AEM setup the car just does not miss a beat and starts beautifully every single time as if it were a regular NSX.
