Description for Acura Legend 1994
I am reluctantly offering up my beloved Legend for sale to a good home. This is a very rare automobile and will only be sold to an Acura enthusiast. Type II motor (230 hp) and six speed manual transmission. The Legend coupe had soft-close doors, rear coupe windows that open, an upgraded Bose Premium sound system with 6 disc CD changer. The timeless design and build quality explains why these cars are in high demand. Next to the NSX this is the best Acura ever made. This model was sold in 1994 and 1995. This one is a beautiful emerald green color (can look black in certain lighting) with tan interior. Tinted windows. No spoiler. This has been in the family for 16 years. I bought it in 2002 from a friend of a wealthy gentlemen who put just 30,000 miles on it during its first eight years. It was in like new condition. I drove it daily until a few years ago. I sold it to my brother who drove it for a year, and it has now been my weekend car for a year. Aside from the year my brother drove it, the Legend has been garaged. Sadly, it is hard to justify keeping it and we have too many cars as it is. Only known accident was when a private snow plow backed into trunk lid in parking lot. Professionally repaired. Horizontal paint surfaces show some fading after the one year outside, rear wheel wells show some rust bubbles have started, and a few scratches on sides. Some door dings and scratches. Leather on front seats is cracked in spots but not split, console leather is worn. ABS/TSC lights come on after start after ABS system check pulses. After pulse brakes work fine. The driver's door handle mechanism stopped working when piece of plastic broke that holds cable. A replacement handle can be found on eBay for $65 or so. Horn buttons popped off. Front left speaker could use replacement. Power antenna is disconnected. Four matching tires, two newer than others. If I were to drive it daily I would put 4 new tires on. I have a video of a cold start here. It is still a great car to drive and will serve someone well. Car is sold as is. No trades, no financing. Certified funds only.
