Up for sale is my father’s 1991 Acura NSX with 42. 84 original miles that he purchased new at Z&W Honda (now Princeton Honda) in Princeton. NJ. This was the first 1991 Acura NSX offered for sale at the Princeton Honda dealership. It is within the first 1. 00 production ( #608. specifically) NSXs made for the North American market making this particular example not only an exceptionally nice original sports car but also significant for collectible reasons. The time has come to sell off some cars in preparation for down-sizing and this one is ready for its second owner. I am assisting him with an eBay listing but he is the enthusiast. has treated this wonderful car with lots of care over the years and would be more than happy to discuss each and every detail regarding the history of the car. specs. etc. that you may have for him. Included with the sale of the vehicle is a large assortment of collectibles that he acquired over the years including newspaper articles. advertisements. factory manuals. limited edition bound book for the first 1. 00 production NSXs. full set of reconditioned staggered wheels. and more! This beauty of a sports car has been with my father since he purchased it new. as I said. and I have had the privilege of learning to drive these cars with him as my passion for cars and for driving grew. The car drives 100% flawlessly and has been serviced without spared expense at Z&W / Princeton Honda / Precision Acura since he acquired it from the new car dealer. The motor sounds great and doesn’t leak or burn a drop. the transmission shifts like new without issue and has never shown symptom of snap ring malfunction. The brakes and suspension are strong and tight. No warning lights are illuminated. never any issues involving mechanical components of the car. and all service done on or before its time. Recent service includes the timing belt. water pump. full A/C service performed last month in preparation for the sale. We decided to send this one off needing nothing other than a clean garage to keep it shiny! All service records can be provided for the buyer including this recent maintenance. The tan interior of the car is absolutely gorgeous and is a nicely appointed and less common color combination with the black exterior. The interior does not show any signs of wear-and-tear whatsoever. The original mats are beautiful because no one was ever allowed inside the car without towels down on the floor. No one has sat in the seats without the custom sheepskin covers. ever. They are surprisingly tricky to remove so I did not bother just for the sake of pictures but the tan leather power seats are brand-new without any marks at all. The dash is in perfect shape. all the power buttons work as they should. the a/c blows ice cold and the heat is hot. All electrical components in the car work properly with the exception of the stereo. My father does not listen to radio/music when he drives these cars and after time and due to the type of capacitors used by Acura. which are very temperature sensitive. these parts stopped working. Only recently when taking the car in for the timing belt service did he notice the stereo did not light up at all. The original stereo was sent out and rebuilt and now functions properly. The stereo capacitors would still need servicing. however. but was considered by my father to be a zero-priority case for the real enjoyment of this car. The body of the car is outstanding with beautiful black paint with no scratches. no dents. no door dings. no rust. and beautiful factory 15” front/16” rear wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenzas that have lots of tread. The only cosmetic flaws are a few small scuffs on the bottom front valence which are worthy of noting because they are the only cosmetic flaws whatsoever and are certainly negligible. My father decided to have the nose of the car re-painted after years of very small stone chips had amounted to a minute but noticeable volume and this was performed at a high-end auto body shop locally. To present date. there are again a handful of stone chips from normal use. The rest of the car retains it original beautiful paint. This car is outstanding in appearance from top-to-bottom. head-to-toe. After many years with these cars and as a participant in NSX Club of America. he will miss the car dearly but is happy to send it off to a new home. The car is located in Hopewell Township. New Jersey and is sold with all paperwork. service records. and NJ title as-is. where-is.
