1975 Alfa Romeo GT Junior 1300. not the 2 liter GTV or 1600 or 1750Purchased the car in 2012 while stationed in Germany. imported the car back in September of this year. Other commitments have kept me from giving the car the attention it really needs. Car is showing 78. 22km (48. 04 miles) currently the last reading in 2008 by the German inspection agency was 76. 45km (47. 87 miles). Based on the year of the vehicle I would imagine it is realistically 148. 04 miles. Mechanically I got it running. and replaced the front and rear brakes. Documents and previous owner indicate that the rear axle was recently rebuilt. It is currently running. and driving. The engine and twin solex carbs are original to the vehicle. The rear axle straps are not present. but otherwise the suspension is in good shape as well. The transmission shifts well through all gears. with no synchro grinding. The wheels are aftermarket. and in my opinion are too big for the car. The fuel tank is the wrong one. while it fits it should be the short neck one. Interior wise the dash needs replacing. it needs door cards. and a headliner. The previous headliner was removed to check the condition of the metal underneath. All gauges with the exception of the fuel gauge work (needs a new sender) they are all in kilometers. Seats are in good condition. the headrest adjustment works on both seats. Body wise the car has clearly had some repairs when it was resprayed from Prugana to Rosso. You can see the respray was just done over the old color. Floors- the front passenger side will need replacing the others are solid. Started removing the sound deadening in the back Sills- both sills are in good shape. and don't show any patchingPillars/rear window-this is the worst part of the car. there is clearly some rust issue that was replaced in the past. best course of action will most likely be a complete replacementDoors- have been replaced but are showing some surface rust on the inside. The drivers door suffered during the move here. most likely repairable. I have the front and rear bumpers they are currently removed but will be included in the sale of the car. Overall the car is in good mechanical shape. the body needs work and I don't have the time or resources to focus on it right now. The car is located in Columbus. Georgia and can be viewed prior to the auction close. The car will come with all German records. import paperwork. and bills of sale. I never registered it here in the states so it will only come with a bill of sale. I can take any additional pictures to answer further questions.
