Description for Alfa Romeo Spider 1976

1976 and 1975 Alfa Spider project package deal. The cream car is the solid car and has no title and will be sold with a bill of sale. The silver car is the 1975 and has a title but is a bonded up rusty parts car. The 1976 has been treated to new clutch hyd. and a fuel tank cleaning and sealing . The brake fluid was flushed and filled. The transmission was serviced as was the differential. The car has a very good smooth running engine with no issues smoke or noises. The trans works great with no grinding. The spica starts and runs good cold and when warm . but the thermal gizmo on the pump has no liquid any more and the car wont start when fully warmed up. See info about Weber conv. below ! The cooling system was flushed and serviced. Engine oil changed and valve clearance checked. The wheels were blasted and re sprayed with wheel paint. new hub cap centers too ! 4 brand new 0 mile Michelins. Body work on the rockers. deck lid and spare tire well was done. The car was re sprayed from the middle down to a driver standard. as was the rear body panel and deck lid. All of the trim necessary to make one nice car is available between the two cars. The top on the parts car has small rip but is useable as is. I was going to use the entire interior from the silver car from the mats to the top. A good top cover is included. The donor car has a much better exhaust manifold and a complete Ansa exhaust . nbsp; Dual Webers and an aftermarket electronic ignition are on the donor car as well. Lots of good extra parts are included see pictures for details on loose parts. I have way too many projects and need the indoor space where the good car is stored. I drove the cream car for about 20 miles around 2 years ago to verify its health. The car drove well at the time. but now the left frt. caliper is dragging a bit and the elec. transfer pump is stuck so its not currently a driver an easy fix if you want to come hear it run. I was only doing this car to driver standard but much more could be done if you want to spend the time. The silver car I bought on ebay 2 years ago in Pa. The car has a dead cylinder. most likely a valve issue. The donor car also has a fiberglass light weight rear bumper . The list goes on. Spend the winter in your garage and have a great Spider when spring arrives. Please check my feedback. I tell it like it is. I will not separate this package. It is priced right.
