The engine has been replaced a number of years ago. It's current engine is the same as the one it replaced.
Overall, he Spider is in excellent condition.It’s a fun car to use to explore those country roads, ecause of it great handling and of course, hat open air/top down experience.
The Giulietta series was produced from 1954 to 1965 by Italian car maker Alfa Romeo. The first Giulietta was a coupe and it was shown in Italy at the 1954 Turin Motor Show. Sedan production began the following spring. During the summer of 1955, he Giulietta was presented as a two-seat spider featuring a convertible top and bodywork by famed coach builder Pinin Farina. It was powered by a 1300 single-carburetor, win-cam engine, hich featured a light allow engine block and an alloy hemispherical cylinder head. The Spider’s power was delivered through an alloy four-speed transmission and a solid rear axle and had drum brakes at all four corners. The light curb weight of 1,850 pounds contributed to the ability of achieving its 120 mph top speed. The Spider was well known for stability at high speed and ease of driving at its limits.
