I imported this car from Italy and I tried registering it in California, but the DMV sent a letter saying only imported cars from Europe, from 1968 and under, are legal to register, but this rule does not apply for other states. The only way to legally register it in Califorina would be to pass the APE inspection. I found out this rule was just implemented in California this year. If you're in another state, check with your DMV frist to see if you can register the car for yourself, which you should be able to.The car is sold with the Italian papers and custom forms.
