Description for Alfa Romeo GTV 1986

I am selling my 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6. $4500 OBO It is a nice example with ~98k miles on it. I have driven it since purchase from the DC area to the Jersey Shore and around town with no issues. Make me an offer if interested. The car is located in Monmouth County. Very hard to find these on the east coast. My favorite part of this car is the fantastic engine. Starts right up every morning. and after a brief warm up period it is ready to roll! Previous owner did the timing belt when he first got the car at 91k miles. The engine runs strong and the car will go the speeds that it was made to do. The Asna Exhaust sounds great. The transmission goes through all of the gears smoothly. never heard a grind. and the clutch feels good. The brakes are what came on the car when I got it. the pads seemed to have a good thickness so I left them alone. The previous owner did replace the master cylinder not too long ago. the original blew a seal. On to exterior. the paint is OK not terrific. fade spots on the roof. other than that the clear coat is mostly intact. The rust seems fairly typical to the car but not horrible for someone with the know how. The major spots are on the lower front fender near the doors on both sides. on the top of the front inner fender wells. there is a small spot on the rear passenger wheel arch. and the spare tire tub. Speaking of the spare tire. it is present and intact. although I don't have the original jack. The interior is in great shape for original. only one tear and that is on the drivers side bolster from getting in and out. Other than that the tan leather seats are in great condition. The wooden steering wheel and shift knob go great with the seat color. The carpet is also good. floor mats were in the car when I got it and have stayed in since. The power windows work fine. the drivers side is a little slow. All of the gauges work except for the oil pressure. it works on initial start up but falls when the engine is warm. The stereo is a newer JVC with a CD player. bluetooth. and a line in port. All shipping cost are the responsibility of the buyer. Title in hand. Deposit due through paypal within 2 days of the sale.
