Description for Alfa Romeo Spider 1990
Hello potential Alfa buyers. This is a good fun car which as you can see by the ownership record, was a Washington DC and Arizona car for most of it's life and hence it remains almost completely free of the north-east lower body rust often found on these cars. With Bosch injection and variable cam timing, it is completely reliable and gets very good mileage. (It delivered over 30 mpg on one trip which was documented back when the speedometer was reliable). All the other gages still work, however, the speedo is inaccurate and and odometer is inoperable these days, therefore please note: The mileage is represented to not be accurate.
This car could use a new ball joint on the right side. Two new ones (an upper and a lower), are included, along with new sway bar drop lines and three ty-rod ends, which it may or not need. I have not had the time to get around to installing these. Oh, there is also included a cool used end section of a Monza style exhaust, which I was also going to install...
This car has the 5 star "Daytona" style mags, which have always been my favorite for these cars. The AC does not work and there is no radio, neither have been missed, however...
So, here we go again, an honest car, with no reserve and a low starting price, which I believe is below any comparable car which I have seen listed on E bay for a long time.
Oh, I also just remembered, as you can see, I painted some old cloudy head light covers and put them on for a "daytime, sort of Lotus Elan look", since I can't afford to drive an actual Elan...
Come and get it!
If it dosen't sell for these last, wonderful fall drives, I will save it for spring and install the ball joints... Also, if you have less than 10 feedbacks or any negative feedback, your bid will be cancelled unless you contact me first to get permission to bid!
