Description for Alfa Romeo Spider 1991
Making a little room in our garage. For sale is a lovely 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce, Series 4, in excellent condition. The original white paint retains it's shine and there are no dents any where on the car. There are a few tiny road chips (see picture) on her nose which would easily be touched up -- they are so small, we haven't bothered. There is no evidence of rust or signs of any repairs. The odometer shows 33,713 miles which we believe to be original and correct. The interior is in very good condition with no tears to the seats, no cracks to the dash, no wear to the door inserts and only a little wear to the carpets, etc. The seats do show some nubbing to the suede inserts and some patina to the tan leather but again, no tears or cracks. The tonneau cover is excellent. The top looks brand new (we never used it) with a clear rear plastic window.Mechanically, the car runs great, starting right up and purring with that characteristic Alfa engine sound. We bought new General Altimax tires for the car approximately 1500 miles ago, so the rubber is barely used. The A/C blows but it's only cool, not ice cold, so new refrigerant is probably in order. The car has it's original radio and I've found the volume button needs jiggling to get all the speakers on at the same time. The buyer may want to replace it with a modern unit anyway. The power windows, clock, fan, wiper, lights all work fine; the power mirrors work but are verrrrry slow, so we just adjust them manually.
In our time, aside from new rubber, we've have the car tuned and maintained regularly but nothing else has been required. The glove box door works but is a bit warped (endemic to Spiders) but we've sourced an un-warped door which will be included with the car.
All in all, she's a sweet little sports car that will make the perfect summer drive!
