Description for AMC Javelin 1970

Poor health and medical bills are forcing me to sell my Javelin. I hunted for a long time to find the one I wanted and now I must let it go. I purchased this black beauty in a museum in Atlanta Georgia. I was told (but have no proof or any reason to doubt) that the strong running 360 high compression engine and the automatic transmission were rebuilt. The AMC rally mag wheels have all new raised white letter radial tires. When the car was delivered to me. I have never seen a car that was as highly detailed inside and out as this one. The interior is all new from the top notch company "Legendary" and is correct for the year. The base coat clear coat black paint is super glossy. The chrome is great with new bumpers. All the glass is excellent with the exception of a scratch on the driver side windshield which could be buffed out at a glass shop. I haven't found one rust spot anywhere on this car and I've looked hard. The car features power steering and a great sounding Kenwood stereo system. The Javelin SST is rare to find especially in this condition. When you do find them they are rust buckets and had the crap beat out of them. I'm 74 and in bad health so this one was driven carefully. The mileage shows 51. 45 I don't know if it's original or not. Like I said I hunted for the right car and felt this was the one!! It drives great. handles and stops great and is plenty fast. The rear is not a posi-traction and has great road gears at any speed. The lucky winner is responsible for shipping and I will assist in any way I can.
