Description for AMC Javelin 1974
Hello Ebay,
For sale is my 1974 AMC Javelin. As much it hurt to sell it I need to due to my family has grown. Therefore I had to get bigger car and I don't have the time or money to finish this project. Basically the car is in that critical point of what you want to do. The car is disassemble from the inside and outside because I had plans to repainted all of the same color. But that does not mean I don't have any of the part. I probably have about 90% to 95% of all the parts the car needs to be restore. Some part I still have in the box brand new from were I bought them. These part consist of new parts that I bought for, ent out to get to get fix, r they are original straight out of the car. from include:
New Carpet (still on the box)
AMC Javelin mats (still on the box)
All trims and fender were chrome ( still with protective paper)
Weather strips (still on the box)
Front and back Seats (recently upholster, ut still needs work)
Dashboard
windows
door panels,
side mirror (plate chrome)
windows
door handles
well the list is to big to list everything. More than likely the missing part would be bolts and screws and some emblems that the car came with and a few other parts.
Now for the main components of the car like the motor, ransmission, nd rear end everything was overhauled. For the rear end, removed the original two piece axel and replace them with one reinforce axel, he gear I believe they are 4:10. I also put in a locker to have both wheel spin unlike the factory rear end that only had one spinning. The transmission I did a overhauled tore-enforce with a bigger flywheel, ew gaskets and seals. Since I move from an original 304 motor to a alter 360 motor I changes from the original 2 barrel to a 4 barrel, igger shift cam, igger piston, ll came from a Eldelbrock kit. It has Dougs headers with flow master exhaust, lso it has the MSD ignition distributor and coil. Beforestarting the overhaul of the motor it was sent to the machine shopfor cleaningand to make the piston holes bigger.Radiator has been change to an aluminum with electronic fans. All of these changes were made within a period of 4 yrs. more or less due to having a hard time finding parts, ot having money or time. The car has being sitting for most of the time with only 100 miles since the overhaul (mainly those miles came from moving the car from oneshop to another) and in those 4 yrs.
Basically car is ready for a little bit of body work, ew paint anda set of newwheels and you will have a car that sounds, rive and looks great!! But if you have questions or want more picture leave me a message.
