DON'T MISS THIS CHANCE...YOU MAY NEVER SEE ANOTHER JAVELIN THIS NICE & WELL CARED FOR! GENERAL OVERVIEW...experienced collectors know that one of the most important attributes of any classic is: "How many owners has it had?". The reason for this, s that virtually all classic cars have gone through a "used car phase" when multiple owners may have treated the car very indifferently as "nothing special". However, ONE-OWNER car is looked upon by its owner very differently...it will always be remembered - and often is treated - as the owner's "new car" regardless how many years have passed! This Javelin has had the good fortune of being owned by the Dinin family since new! It was originally "Mom's car" and was never mistreated - it gradually came into its own as "a family member" - and a lot has been invested over the years to keep it looking and driving great! With the 401 V8 having less than 2000 miles on it since its rebuild, he car drives confidently and is a pleasure to drive...drawing admiring and nostalgic smiles everywhere it goes. Perhaps best of all in Atlanta's hot summers, he Factory Air Conditioning works well too!
Though the car needs nothing to enjoy, ike most 40+ year-old classics, here are a few items that the new owner may want to address such as: no horn, noisy original radio (untested potential aftermarket replacement is shown at right and included), nd minor flaws such as small worn areas on the drivers seat, broken window crank knob on the rear passenger's side (window rolls up/down fine), nd a few minor paint scratches (examples shown at right and may largely buff-out with careful effort). HIGHLY ORIGINAL...though it's almost impossible to find 40+ year old classics that are 100% original, his Javelin is a highly original car. Some changes of significance include installation of the 401 V8, emoval of the vinyl roof, nd a slight lowering of the front end by replacing the original front springs (which have been kept and will be given to the new owner if desired) with shorter ones.

COLLECTIBLE INVESTMENT POTENTIAL...the AMC Javelin is one of the most popular of all Nash-Rambler-AMC cars ever built. Dick Teague is widely recognized as one of Detroit's most talented auto designers, nd his Javelin is fondly remembered and avidly collected. 1974 is perhaps the most desirable as it was the last year of manufacture, nd incorporated the most refinements/improvements since the car's 1967 model year introduction. My hometown is Kenosha, isconsin...where AMC had their largest assembly plant. I remember the tremendous pride our town had in this car...which went head-to-head with the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro. Restaurants, oads, nd family pets were all named after the Javelin! PAYMENT DETAILS: Payment is due within 3-business days of auction's end via Bank to Bank Wire Transfer. Vehicle will be released to the new owner immediately upon full clearance of payment to seller's Bank. ABOUT ME: I am an avid car enthusiast. After retiring from 30 years of sales and marketing in a Global 100 company, formed Murphy Endeavors, LC and began buying and selling classic cars as a collector and for friends and clients. This classic Javelin belongs to a friend and fellow classic car enthusiast. Please note that I have had 2,594 eBay transactions with happy folks and have sold classic cars to eBay customers in Brazil, weden, witzerland, rance, ermany, ustralia, ussia, anada, apan, nd throughout the United States. IMPORTANT FINAL REMARKS, ONDITIONS OF SALE, nd VIN NUMBER DETAILS...the Buyer will receive a Notarized Bill of Sale and Georgia Registration document. IMPORTANT NOTE: The state of Georgia does not require vehicles older than 1985 to be titled - as is the case with the Javelin. Instead, "Non-Title" registration document is issued - and the registration itself then becomes proof of ownership to the current registration holder. In this case however, he owner's mother's title (pictured) has been kept as a "memento" and will also be provided to the new owner. Though this nicely restored/modernized 1974 Javelin has been exceptionally well-cared for by the Dinin family - it remains a 40+ year-old automobile. Therefore, his sale is strictly on an as-is and final basis with no warranties or liabilities expressed or implied. ODOMETER NOTE: the indicated mileage is believed to be accurate. However, ue to the design limitations of 1974-era odometers, ctual mileage can never be verified with complete accuracy...therefore no mileage guarantees are expressed or implied. Every effort has been made to present this car completely and accurately to the best of our knowledge and resources, ut errors and oversights are possible. Therefore, re-purchase examination of the vehicle (if desired) is welcomed before the listing's end and can be easily arranged by appointment. VIN NUMBER NOTE: During the composition of this listing, e noticed that the Registration document is in error...the VIN number is off by one digit! So that is being corrected, nd hopefully, corrected registration document will be ready before the car is sold...but if not, t will certainly be provided asap to the new owner after it is re-issued by the State of Georgia.
