***Cool looking 1973 AMC Javelin! Beautiful Pierre Cardin interior!***
This Javelin was removed from a local garage where it has been hidden away for the last 11+ years! The prior owner purchased this from a older woman in Burlington,Washington area and drove it back to Las Vegas.He did have it registered and plated it but was parked in the garage and covered with blankets.This is a nice example to restore!
This Javelin is equipped with a smooth running 304 V8 and backed by a automatic transmission.It starts right up,plus runs and drives very good down the road.It has a brand new battery and fuel pump.It is equipped with power steering and factory air conditioning,which still works! It still has all of the factory emissions equipment under the hood.The whitewall tires are older but have good tread plus it has factory spoke wheels!
After some internet research, e discovered the vehicle was originally painted Copper Tan and that the complete Pierre Cardin interior was added sometime in the last 42 years!The Pierre Cardin interior is a rare find and in near mint condition! The bucket seats,rear bench and headliner are very clean and the door panels look great! The dashboard and sunvisors are nice and damage free.The AM radio has nice sound and even the seatbelt dash lamp and buzzer works!
The Fresh Plum paint is presentable and the body is in good shape overall.It does have some dings,scuffs,minor paint blisters and a couple of dents from sharing the garage space with his motorcycles.The frame and floors are all rustfree! All the glass and trim look very good! The clean and very solid trunk has a spare tire and wheel.The front grille looks great! A small box of original emblems,service and info manuals and dealer sales brochure will all be included.
