Description for AMC Rambler 1963
This is a very rare 1963 American Rambler Hurst Edition, 2 door hardtop. Red and white with as you can see blinding Red interior. Big six cylinder specially for the Hurst Edition. 3 speed Hurst in floor console and second Hurst shifter for overdrive. Running and driving even down freeway. Very cold A/C, AM radio and cassette player also with tapes.I only had the red painted because the paint was fading and getting weak. The trunk and under the hood are still original with a like new shine. No rust in the floors or trunk. This car was kept in a garage a large part of its life and is definitely a real keeper. Its origin is Oklahoma where it is hot and dry thus the red fading.
You may notice some chrome on back missing and around the front windshield ( Which is cracked) so you know if you don't notice it is in the trunk along with the 4 red original wheels and all 4 original hub caps and extra material to recover the dash pad that matches the beautiful red Rolland pleated interior that is so plush and attractive.
I have owned the car for 4 or 5 years and have never offered it for sale because I enjoy looking at it under my carport and driving it with freezing cold air conditioning.
