1977 AMC Gremlin project. No engine or bell housing, have 3 speed manual trans.

I purchased thisGremlin about 5 years ago and the original six cylinder engine, 3 speedbell housing, radiator and seats were gone.

I am at the picture limit for the listing, so I posted what I thought was the most relevant. I am not trying to hide anything, so If you are seriously interested and want specific pictures just ask. I have no problem sending them to you, just don't want to waste a bunch of time, that is why I say "seriously interested".

I installed Energy Suspension upper control arm bushings, bump stops and tie rod end dust boots with new Moog front coil springs and upper ball joints. Spring saddles have been rebuilt with greasable bushings and powder coated red. Factory front disc brakes w/ new braided stainless brake lines, andis factorypower steering.

Installed Energy Suspension rear leaf spring shackle bushings in the factory leaf springs

I only have two stock 14" steel wheels and only one tire holds air, so you will need to bring some rollers to get it loaded. Or you can purchase the Appliance wheels w/ new BFG’s I also have listed.

New door hinge bushings and new door handles installed.....

Solid car w/ some cancer that is pictured. Floor is solid w/a couple spots that needs attention, but it does not need floor pans and wheel wells are solid.It is not hacked up. I have a title, which is rare in itself.It has been tagged and insured the whole time I have had it, butI didn’t renew the tag on it this year because it was swapped over to the reason this project stalled. It is dusty from sitting in my shop for years on jack stands.


Does not have front seats, I have original bucket seat tracks and new seat belts.


Dash plastic shell has crumbled. All pieces are there, but it is not useable.Gauge cluster, Glove box door and center radio section pieces are all in good shape.

Rhodes Gremlin specific 4 point roll bar, has not been welded in.

Has an AMX grill shell in it and I was planning on making a mesh insert. I have the stock '77 grill and lights. grill is in one piece, but does have cracks and is showing its age.

I have the 3 speed transmission minus the bell housing. Trans has shifter and I have the driveshaft.
