For sale is this 1970 AMX with the original date coded 390 (X code Vin) Go Pack, auto, PS, PB, and air conditioning. I am listing for another person but I have inspected and driven the car. The car is located near Bristol TN, just over the VA border. Originally Mosport Green with a black C stripe it is now Golden lime with a black C stripe. Very nice floors, trunk, and rockers. Quarters were professionally patched but look decent. No rust in this car, it is clean underneath and all original sheet metal with the exception of the lower quarter patches. Really nice original interior with new carpet and above average wood grain. Air conditioning is non functional, missing the evaporator and compressor. All interior air parts are there, nice vents. Working heater. The engine and trans are rebuilt and detailed nicely. Wrong valve covers painted engine color from a 360, aftermarket aluminum radiator, HEI distributor, otherwise pretty stock. Very nice new driver quality paint with one touch up near the drivers quarter window, otherwise very strong appearance. New gas tank, exhaust, brakes/booster, tires and brakes. 54,000 original miles, rim blow works, tach doesn’t due to non stock HEI distributor. Missing the ram air door actuator, other ram air goodies in tact. Extra parts included are a Moroso electronic distributor, stock distributor, 360 long branch exhaust manifolds and extra engine compartment stickers. Please ask if you need more information.
