1985 Audi 4000 S Quattro 34k miles

Description for Audi Other 1985

I am the second owner of this 1985 Audi 4000 Quattro.
It spent the first 12 years in Illinois and therefore has some rust, ainly surface. I tried to show the rust spots in the pictures.In 1997 the owner and her car moved to the Bay area in California where it sat in an underground parking garage until early 2015.It has NOT been driven in 18 years. We started the motor with ether and it ran fine on all five cylinder. We did not drive the car, ut it shifts through all gears fine.I will include a new factory replacement fuel pump.
This Audi also had some panels repainted and the paint is pretty dull now.
The interior is in excellent condition, ith good seats, oor panels, arpet, teering wheel and roofliner. The dashboard has no cracks.I have no documents to prove the mileage on the odometer, ut looking at the interior, specially the steering wheel, t might very well be accurate. CA title shows "actual" mileage.
All electrics work, .e, ower sunroof, ower windows, ower door locks, ower antenna, ll lights inside and outside and the heater fan.
I have a clear California title (title only) in my name. Since it does not run, will not and cannot provide a California buyer with a smog certificate.
The car has a lot of potential but will definitely need work to be enjoyed again. Therefore my starting price is low without reserve.
I will help with shipping arrangements or if it's within 100 miles of Riverside, eliver the car for cost.

This car has not been driven for many years and it does NOT drive right now.

We had the engine running for a few seconds on ether as I mentioned in the ad.

The brakes are fine with firm pressure in the pedal and short travel in the handbrake lever.
