Originally delivered and purchased in Missoula Montana. This was a "Special Order 5000 CS" with a"Grey Chenille Velour"interior. All of the CS Models came standard with Leather. In hot climates, cloth is my favorite and truly looks as new, now 35 years later as it did when it rolled off the showroom floor. Windows were tinted its complete life. I have since removed the window tint. Complete cloth interior is not Faded and shows its True Colors. The rear deck lid tray is still "Bright Black Carpet." When is the last time you have seen that detail. I have owned quite a few of these cars, and this is the nicest one of them all.
This particular example has been garaged most of its life; from the original owner, to the second owner, and to my ownership. All 3 Owners whom love their Audi's and take absolute care of them.

I purchased the car from a great friend of mine whom had it for 5 years. It was Nates daily driver from home to work. He's a teacher in Santa Monica, California and did not have to drive far to work. So, the car did not accumulate a lot of miles during his ownership. When he offered the car to myself, it was a must have.
Even though the car was licensed and purchased in Montana, it was driven back and forth to Las Vegas, Nevada over the winter months. The original owner was a "Snow Bird" and left Montana in the cold and came to the warmth. They had the best of both worlds. A beautiful Montana Summer with a warm winter in Nevada.

All mechanic are up to date. Recent work includes a complete new cooling system, Yokohama Tires & a all Fluids changed. Interior is immaculate for Seats, Carpets, Finishes, Etc. After 34 years, the head liner in the very back just started coming loose. But is tucked in and looks nice. I had the right side paint blended to eliminate minor door dings which it must have gotten in the garage, and the rear lower bumper as well. This was in an effort to make the exterior as perfect as I can. The paint blends perfectly and you cannot even tell.
Most all options on the Audi work as they should. Cold Air Conditioning, Power Options opperate, etc. A few details are; the right front passenger window is often slow and needs a wee help to raise. Window motor is getting a little weak and the ABS switch on the dash board to turn the ABS on / off is intermittent. Nate, the 2nd owner installed a sound system, which is most all in tact, but it's the 1st generation I-Phone Stereo which used the phone to operate. Would be nice to have a perfect Audi stereo in place. That is all I can think of and know for now.
Please bid with absolute confidence!

Please call myself if your prefer. I am always available to talk cars.
