Up for auction is a a very nice 1969 Austin Healey Sprite with its original engine ( this is a numbers matching car ). It is a 4 speed with a non-overdrive transmission. I'm listing the car for a friend of mine so please ask any and all questions prior to bidding. I have seen and driven the car and she is one sweat little Sprite. The description below is my friends so please review all the photos and description closely. The car is selling this week to the highest bidder. Mechanicals: The car runs like a dream! The car was just serviced last month which included: a complete tune up. nbsp;oil change. new oil filter. air. filters and all fluids checked and topped off. The car holds about 65 lbs oil pressure when warm and at speed. The car starts right up with no issues or smoke. The clutch. pressure plate. release bearing and clutch slave cylinder where replaced about 1500 miles ago. The brakes are good and the hand brake does work. Electrical's: This area is in unbelievable condition. The following items are in proper working order: headlights ( high & low beam ) work . wipers work. front & rear turn signals work. front & rear running lights work. brake lights work. nbsp;backup lights work . license plate light works and the blower fan works. Gauges: All gauges are correct and original "Smith" brand all of which are in working order at this time. Interior: Is in very. very nice condition ( see photos ). The sun visors. window winder handles and carpet where replaced about 8 to 10 months ago. Exterior: The car sits nicely on the ground with no sagging or any signs of the dreaded " Left Side Leaning" issues. As you can see the car is laser straight with no dings or dents and the paint presents her self well. The paint is of good driver quality but not be considered "show quality" . While I'm not an expert I find no evidence of accidents or rust repairs on the exterior of the car. Note: She does look great but still not a show car. Tops / Covers: The car does come with the high end and highly sought after top cover and Tonneau cover ( covers the full cockpit ). Trunk: The truck is rock solid. The car has a spare tire. wire wheel. wire wheel knock off tool and its original jack Underbody: The frame. floors. inner sills / rocker panels and dog legs look great.
