You are bidding for a 1958 Austin A-40 Farina. She came out of a barn east of Lafayette, ndiana 12 years ago and has beenside my garage since. I have the title. The last vehicle inspection was in February 1973, he owner died and the kids put it in the barn so I was told. The motor was locked and after a lot of kerosene and a few years got the motor to turn by hand. Pulled the soul out and checked main and rod bearings and the standards can go back in but I broke a land on one of the pistons so you will need to match new pistons. The electrics haven't been hacked on and I have all of the lenses and trim save for the A-40 chrome for the boot. The original downdraft carburettor and 948 head will come with the car. My plan was to put twin 1&1/4" S.U.'s on her with a 1098cc head that bolts right on. and is included. The interior is the black with red piping. She is 12 volt positive ground.Winner of this offer is responsible for pick up and delivery of the vehicle.I live in the country on a narrow gravel road which is not suitable for a large truck to navigate.
