Up for sale is a freshly restored 1979 British Leyland Mini Clubman Estate. Upon arrival. the body was stripped down completely to bare metal and epoxy primed. Front and rear subframes were completely stripped as well and powdercoated gloss black. All suspension components were replaced with brand new parts from Seven Mini Parts. From the rubber cones. shocks. all the way to the mounting components and bolts. The rear brakes got the same treatment. New shoes. hardware. backing plates. drums and parking brake system. The front brakes were completely replaced with brand new Cooper S disc brakes from Seven as well. The body got new floor pans all around as well as other sheet metal repair panels All panels were purchased from Seven as well. with most being Heritage panels. The drivetrain and engine were inspected and new gaskets installed. The carburetor was rebuilt completely as well. All glass is original but all seals and window tracks were replaced with brand new. The interior was not left alone. All new carpets were installed with a thermal/ sound deadening mat installed underneath. The seats and door panels were reupholstered locally with a classy stitching on the seats and stitching on the door cards that lines perfectly from front to back on the front and rear panels. The dash was refurbished as well. upper and lower. The heater was rebuilt and works perfectly. blowing hot as it should. The car was completely rewired. using an original style fuse box and all new wiring. Finally. original Dunlop D1 wheels were sourced and new Yokohama A008 tires were mounted all around. The car will also come with a spare that is an original Dunlop D1 wheel as well. The car is being stored in dry-storage and will be until sold. Upon auctions end. a $500. 00 deposit is due within 48 hours with remaining balance due within 7 days. I will assist where I can shipping the car.
