1959 Austin VX4 English British Taxi taxicab white leather French registration

Hello, and thanks for checking out my auction!

This (black) 1959 English Austin FX4 taxi was restored years ago with the intention of being driven daily. The taxi is currently registered in France (Carte Gris). At some point within the past decade, the Austin motor was replaced with an Audi 80 diesel engine. The taxi is currently located in Saint-Malo, France. You are welcome to come inspect it.

This taxi has passed all required inspections, and has been serviced regularly. It was previously owned by a florist on the Cote d’Azure and was rented out for weddings, as well as the Cannes Film Festival. Upon closing up shop, the previous owner kept the taxi in his own indoor garage, driving it on occasion.

This taxicab possesses a certain charm no longer found in current English taxis: check out the paint and leather seats! I am selling it become I am simply not driving it enough and I need extra parking space, due to three other recent taxi purchases. Taxi has an Italian horn and Blaupunkt CD stereo.

This taxi can be delivered directly to Port of Le Havre in France, or you are welcome to reach out to me in order to set up other shipping arrangements.
