This is a very good condition, ell-sorted drivers car. No modifications, riginal configuration, ood quality workmanship. Starts easily, rives well, nd no smoke or puddles. I have had the car for 8 years and drive it on average about once per week to buy groceries, ocal car events or just for fun. I bought the car at the Monterey auctions in 2007 and the car was described as being restored by a local BMW technician. The restoration was of pretty high quality, ut not a trailer queen. The undercarriage is nicely detailed (see photos), o rust anywhere, nd the major systems all look to have been restored with correct parts. I rebuilt the braking system a year ago with new drums, elined the shoes, ew wheel cylinders, ew adjusters and springs and new hoses. This year, rebuilt the chain case with a new chain and new seals throughout. Gear teeth are still veryclean and bearings were in excellent condition. I replaced the tires with radials and new inner tubes (split rim wheels) and replaced a couple of silent-blocs in the steering. Battery replaced a couple of years ago. A new door gas strut is on the way from Germany and will be installed before the close of auction. Many extra new parts included: sunroof, xterior trim pieces, ushings, rass insertsand silent blocks for front suspension. Improved fuel petcock. Engine and transmission gaskets. Various hard to find bits and pieces that I have collected over the years. This is a great little car and hoot to drive.
