Description for BMW 3-Series 1988
This car is in good condition.I bought this car from a mechanic who was fixing it up for his granddaughter, nly to find out that she wanted nothing to do with it! That being said, t was in great condition when I bought it, nd I have been very good about maintaining it. I have all of the service records for the life of the car.Looks:Good:Non-smoker, o pets orchildren. Thepassenger seat and the back seat have hardly any wear and tear. There are no cracks in the dashboard, nd the instrument panel is in good condition. The car has always been kept very clean. The sunroof, lectric windows and locks all work perfectly. There is no rust anywhere, ndeverything seals up air tight!Bad:The front seat has two small tears in the leather, s shown in the picture. There is a scratch in the window tint of the rear passenger's side window, nd there is a small puncture in the headliner of the sun roof. The paint on the hood has somesun fading, nd there are a few scratches and dings on the body, consistent with a car this age. But it's still a very sharp looking car.Function:Good:The car runs and drives well. The sunroof works, s do all of theinterior controls. The AC was just replaced, nd works very well. The heat also works. New tires this spring.Bad:It runs and drives fine how it is, owever I did have a mechanic look it over so that I could tell a prospective buyer what work it will need to have done in the future. (That way I cansell it with a clearconscience, nd keep my good car karma). The mechanic said that the transmission pan has a leaky gasket (a cheap fix) and that the power steering boots need to be replaced... another cheap fix and the "break lining" light sensor is on the fritz, gain, nother cheap fix. And something that the mechanic said is normal for this year and model, s that sometimes it starts on the second try, owever, t has always started.
