Salmon silver over Anthracite M cloth seats. Incredibly clean, ow mileage E28 M535i. 2 owner collection grade example has service documentation since new! All the heavy lifting of importing a model not sold in NA has been properly done. Car has clear Indiana title. This Japanese spec, 28 is very rare and a true time-capsule. It is not an exaggeration to say it may be the finest example of this great car in US or abroad. Engine is the much praised M30 in line 6 producing 185hp and 209 lb/ft torque. The auto transmission performs flawlessly, nd features 3 settings: Economy, port and Manual shift. 3.45:1 rear axel with limited slip. Nicely optioned with power windows, ower tilt and slide sunroof, nd ABS brakes. All mechanicals and electronics perform as they should. Incredible exterior condition for its age with very minor issues as pictured. Interior looks like the day it was delivered. No rust, ever seen snow etc...
Car was imported in December of 2014 from Yokohama, apan to Baltimore USA. After clearing customs, had it picked up in a covered transporter and shipped to Enthusiast Auto Group in Cincinnati where the vehicle was completely gone over. About $3300 later, t was shipped up to me in Indiana. Work included replacement of drag link, ront right tie rod, ear pitmans, ll sway links,new rear brakes ( I had the fronts completely redone with new master cylinder just last week), ubframe bushings etc... basically a re-tuned suspension. Car drives and rides like new. I swapped the original metric wheels/tire set up for 16" OEM basketweave dish wheels and new (500miles) Yokohama all season tires. All 5 original metric wheels are included in the sale. They are in very good condition. Actual mileage is about 38,100.I do drive it occasionally so actual mileage may be slightly higher at time of sale. All instrumentation is in kilometers so it reads about 61,000 km. This is a unique opportunity to own an original, nmodified, 28 M535i...a car that time forgot, ut was an important link to what we now know as the Motorsport division of BMW.
