1976 BMW 2002- This car came to us as a parts car but we don't have the heart to break her up. She runs well but the clutch hydraulics are stuck and the brakes don't work. The car is complete and restorable but may be very useful to you as a parts car. especially if you need a running engine for your 2002. All the glass is in excellent condition. All the glass is original BMW except for the windshield and left front wing window. The windshield has obviously been replaced as it is not pitted or cloudy and is very clear. There are some bits on the car that indicate it was well loved at least at some point in it's life. In the pictures you will see fairly new Bilstein shocks all around. a new-ish alternator and rally gauges. The body's biggest issue is that someone did a poor prep job for painting at some point. The roof has some poor body work and surface corrosion but would be easy to re-do. The RF fender must be a replacement unit that wasn't properly prepped and has literally lost all it's paint. My guess is that the car had a fender bender and was repaired and painted in someone's backyard. The underside of the car. supporting body panels and suspension show no signs of any major damage though. The bumpers- "What the heck are early metal bumpers doing on a '76 02?" I don't know. nbsp;didn't even know you could do that. Doesn't look bad though and can likely be adjusted to look really good. *The car has no title and is sold "Bill of Sale" only. It says "clear title" at the top of the auction as the is no "Bill of Sale" only option. Be assured. there is NO title.
