Description for BMW 6-Series 1987

Here up for bids is this sharp BMW L6. This is a 3-owner car that is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. The car runs and drives beautifully and has been well maintained. 35 pictures follow, look for my text descriptions along the way.

Finished in Glacier White, the car's paint is looking good with only a few small dings and a few paint chips on the nose. The passenger side fender was replaced, literally from a minor "fender bender', detailed receipts from the body shop that did the work are included. The damage was limited to the fender only, there is no sign of any damage to the inner apron, undercarriage, or in the engine bay. The car has a clean title and a clean CarFax, email me for a copy.

Clean and straight air dam except for one small surface crack at the center and one scuff on the right.

The pod mounted on the trunk is a Sirius SM antenna.

Wheels are all in good shape, the matching Yokohama tires all have good tread.

Glass is all good.

Trunk has the original TRX spare and tool kit.

Also included are service manuals and brochures, original window sticker (51K) and a folder of receipts that show its entire service history. The car comes with some spare parts and a high quality car cover.

Well preserved interior showing very little wear. L6's had a leather wrapped dash, this one shows some of the typical shrinking that was common to these models.

Clean headliner with working sunroof. All of the car's weatherstripping is in good shape with no water leaks.

Back seat area is like new. Center console cubby is air conditioned to keep drinks cold.

All electrical items work correctly - horn, wipers, lights, signal, etc.

No warning lights illuminated on the dash, service light indicators are green. The odometer stopped working a few months ago, the actual mileage is probably closer to 108K.

Climate control works correctly and the A/C blows cold.

Very nice sound system with a lifetime subscription to Sirius XM.

Power seats work correctly. Power windows all work, although the rear window on the driver's side is slow.

The car runs and drives excellent. Starts instantly and runs strong. The car handles great, brakes well and makes good power. The motor runs cool and doesn't leak fluids. The transmission shifts perfectly, this is a really great road car. Lots of service receipts included that tell the story of the car's maintenance over the years.
