1972 BMW 3. 0 CSL-3. 0 CSL-Concours Level Restoration-Stripped to bare metal and prepped. All aluminum panels replaced. -Wood dash and side panels: New Veneer-Vinyl dash and glove box recovered-Seats restored with original Scheel fabric-Korman stage 1 3. 3 Liter Motor-Korman sport suspension-Brakes. Gearbox. Driveshaft. Differential. Axles. Fuel System. Cooling systems all rebuilt -ALPINA Wheels This car was bought by a collector who lives in Lynchburg. VA in the mid 2000's and has been completely restored from the ground up by Korman BMW. Above is a list of the things that were done by Korman. It has been kept in his garage ever since the restoration. There hasn't been a drop of water on the car since it has been in his possession. It took just over 4 years for the restoration to be completed. This is a true CSL complete with aluminum doors and the elephant skin line for the trunk which I do have but haven't installed. You wont find a more meticulous collector out there than this cars prior owner. He has been collecting cars for the better part of his life and owned several high end dealerships; this car had to be done exactly the right way or he would not have owned it. This is a one of a kind car as anyone who knows what this car is will should already know and it won't last long.
