SO HERE IS THE STORY OF THIS CAR
I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM A GENTLEMAN WHO CLAIMED THE CAR WAS SITTING FOR A LONG IN HIS GARAGE IN CALIFORNIA AFTER PURCHASING AND GETTING IT TRANSPORTED TO MY PLACE I CHANGED THE FUEL AND CLEANED THE TANK AND DID AN OIL CHANGE AND THEN TRIED TO START IT THAT'S WHEN I FOUND OUT THE ENGINE WAS FROZEN DUE TO LEAKY HEAD GASKET THAT MADE THE COOLANT RUN DOWN THE CYLINDERS AND EVENTUALLY FROZE THEM SO I TOOK THE ENGINE APART AND SENT THE HEAD AND BLOCK TO MACHINE SHOP AND HAD THEM REDO THE HEAD WITH BRAND NEW VALVE GUIDES AND ALL SEALS AND GASKETS THE BLOCK WAS ALSO TAKEN ALL APART AND REDONE AND PUT BACK TOGETHER WITH BRAND NEW RINGS AND PISTONSALL NECESSARY PARTS SUCH HEAD GASKET KIT O-RINGS WHERE ALL REPLACEDNEW WATER PUMPNEW THERMOSTATNEW CARBURETOR KIT WAS USED TO REBUILD THE CARBURETORNEW WASHERS AND NUTSNEW FRONT AND REAR ENGINE SEALNEW ALTERNATOR BUSHINGSNEW BELTS AND MUCH MUCH MORENEW REAR BRAKE DRUM CYLINDERSNEW FOUR BRAND NEW TIRESDASH IS IN GREAT SHAPE WITH EXCEPTION OF ONE HAIR LINE CRACK THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN REPAIRED AND CANT BE SEEN SO EASILYPAINT IS IN GOOD SHAPE WITH COUPLE AREAS THAT HAVE BEEN TOUCHED UP BUT OVER ALL IN GOOD SHAPE COULD USE A GOOD POLISHSHOCK TOWERS ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE AND HAVE MO SIGNS OF ANY PRIOR REPAIR OR RUSTCAR IS DRY UNDER AND HAVE EXCELLENT FLOOR PANELSCARPET LOOKS GOOD BUT I WOULD PROBABLY USE THE GERMAN STYLE IF I WANTED TO KEEP ITUNDERCARRIAGE WAS CLEANED UP TO THE POINT YOU COULD SEE ORIGINAL TEXTURE AND PAINTNEW CLUTCH KIT WAS INSTALLED AT THE TIME OF ENGINE REMOVALENGINE BAY AREA WAS CLEANED AND PAINTED AT THE TIME WHEN ENGINE WAS REMOVEDCAR DRIVES GREAT I WOULD SUGGEST A $200 DOLLARS VALVE ADJUSTMENT IN ABOUT 2000 MILES FROM NOW SINCE THE ENGINE IS NEWPLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE PRIOR TO BIDDING AND DEFINITELY BEFORE BUYING ITALL INSPECTIONS ARE WELCOME PRIOR TO BIDDING AND DEFINITELY PRIOR TO BUYINGFRONT LICENCE EURO PLATE DOES NOT COME WITH THE CAR#################THERE WILL BE NO INSPECTION AFTER PURCHASE ####################REMEMBER THIS IS A 40 YEARS PLUS OLD CAR SO I AM NOT SURE OF ACTUAL MILES ON THE CAR NO ONE CAN REALLY TELL SINCE ITS 5 DIGIT ODOMETER
