Description for BMW Other 1973

Hello. p for sale is my 1973 Bavaria 3. 0 CS Sedan. First of the "e" designations. E3. Last year for the dual carburetors. Mileage of 48086. however odometer does not seem to work all the time so mileage is unknown. I have taken out the strut tower spacers and you can see those in the trunk/boot picture. In the trunk are a new oil pan gasket and a new transmission gasket. (They are both leaking a little. ) Both gaskets are Genuine BMW. Oil is Genuine BMW 5w/30 and transmission fluid is Redline. I added wheels off an E24 6 Series and put 215/70 r15 on them. The original wheels are skinny so with the addition of bigger tires and removal of the strut spacers you can drive her more "spiritedly". The wheels have brand new tires on them and were repainted professionally. I do have the original "steelies" with brand new tires on them. and are part of the sale. You can see a tear in the drivers seat. (There when I purchased it) You can see the upholstery was redone and needs more "stuffing" (Previous owner had them redone and in time they settled and you can see the rear seat back sagging. (Needs to be filled more)There are no "warning" lights lit on the dash. All is working correctly including the clock. Radio works but is not not original. Transmission shifts fine. Needs to be adjusted a little as at times she does not go into park every time. (There is an adjustment right on the transmission for this very purpose. I never had a problem so I never fiddled with it. All you have to do is start her in "neutral")She is kept in a heated garage on a battery tender and has not seen rain or snow for the past couple of years. (I do not drive her in the winter unless its a clear sunny day. And never in the rain no matter the season. )I use premium fuel with some lead substitute additive from GUNK. You can see the rust by the wheel wells in the picture. The front left side quarter panel looks like it was damaged and bondo used to help disguise it. Below is a few seconds of engine running. I have set a very low reserve. well below the blue book value. Good luck to all of you.
