You are looking at my 1988 535i finished in Schwarz over two tone Black and Tan leather interior. I will start by saying this is an above average e28, if you are looking for a bargain and a rough project, move on. If you are looking for a nice driver... continue reading. This is a very solid car, for starters she has been in the south since day one so rust to contend with. The body is very straight, all panels are original which give all four doors that specific tone when they close. All panels align as they did from the factory, there are no unsightly gaps. The bumpers have benefited from the "lipo treatment", a huge improvement in my opinion. Inside the interior seats have been redone, a very expensive job and very well done. All seat electronics have been rebuilt and work as they should-even the headrest! The dash has been covered by a dash cap to cover what I assume are cracks underneath as 80's era BMW's were prone to splitting. Windows and Sunroof operate as they should. The radio has been upgraded and is a nice improvement. As with many e28's the odometer had quit working years ago, so actual mileage is unknown. I own several BMW's and this is a common issue for those who are new to the Bimmer seen. I have installed a working cluster with every gauge in operating condition. I have installed an aftermarket shiftknob to my liking, easy to rectify if you want to go back to stock. A short shift kit was previously installed and shifts great, no grinds or odd noises. Suspension upgrades include H&R Springs and Bilstein Shocks. This is a great ride and just stiff enough so that daily driving will not knock out your fillings! Under the hood is very clean as you can see, I cannot stand a dirty car especially under the hood when you need to work on it. The motor runs very well, plenty of power and drives as it should. Front suspension is in great shape. No need for any replacement parts in the near future. This is a great e28 that is ready to be driven daily or on the weekends as I have done. Feel free to ask questions and I will be happy to answer. I have put in the payment terms that full payment must be received within 3 days. I figure if you are buying a car then you already have the money set aside, if you don't please do not bid. I have a clean title ready to be handed over to the new owner, I will be happy to assist with shipping arrangements, I have one I can recommend that I have used in the past. Thanks and good luck.
