The BMW E30 M3 has had a cult-like following that is undeniable since the car first appeared, and that still stands true today. This fantastic 1-Owner E30 M3 has been enthusiast owned from day one. Meticulously maintained and properly serviced since new by its only owner, this M3 is sure to please and will make a fabulous addition to any garage - Drive it home today! The M3 was designed with track-inspired technology. This includes a Front air dam that increases downforce on the front axle and directs a flow of cool air to the brakes and oil cooler. The Rear Window Spoiler, Trunk Lid, Air Dams, and Bumpers were created with a special plastic and fiberglass compound. This created a better weight to power ratio that was already impressive for a car that weighs just over 2,600 lbs. The front wheels are independently suspended on single pivot McPherson Struts, the rears on semi-trailing arms. The comfortability aspect of BMW did not let the "Race Car" aspect get in the way. With leather seats and plenty of features to make your cruise easy to handle, the M3 is the perfect combination of agility and driveability. The E30 M3 debuted at the 1985 Frankfurt motor show. The production of the E30 road car was to homologate the M3 for Group A Touring car racing. The BMW E30 M3 would become the winningest model in Touring Car history. The M3, although using the same basic unit-body shell as the standard E30, was equipped with 12 different and unique body panels for the purposes of improving aerodynamics, as well as "box flared" wheel-arches in the front and rear to accommodate a wider track with wider and taller wheels and tires. The only exterior body panels the standard model 3 Series and the M3 shared were the hood, roof panel, sunroof, and door panels. Upgrades over the "standard" 3 Series automobiles include more powerful and responsive engines, improved handling/suspension/braking systems, aerodynamic body enhancements, lightweight components, and interior/exterior accents with the tri-color "M" (Motorsport) emblem. Production of the original E30 M3 ended in early 1992.
