Description for BMW 7-Series 1989
1989 BMW 750iL V12. Very low mileage for the year at just over 52K miles. Beautiful condition. California car all its life. I have a clean Car Fax showing the mileage history since new. The leather interior still smells new and the car even has the plastic break in sticker on the windshield. It also appears the rear window has a plastic coating on the inside that needs to be removed making it a little blurry. Couple of little nicks in the paint here and there but overall a stunning car especially with the rare 18 inch Antera chrome wheels. The car does have a couple of issues. A/C is not cold and appears they tried temporarily putting R134 in it to sell it but now it's warm again. There is also an intermittent pumping noise from just below the PS/load leveling reservoir. I can send you a link to the video with the noise. Also the gauges sometimes take an extra minute to “wake up” so to speak including the odometer ( remains blank for a minute or so. I just either wait or turn it on and off ). Unfortunately I didn't receive the remote or books for the car and only have one key. I also need to get the radio code for the car. The local BMW dealer will give it to me once the radio serial number is obtained (very easy). I did notice a BMW CD changer in the trunk and an added Alpine amplifier. The car drives very nicely but does shimmy a bit when braking at certain speeds. The previous owner said they just did the brakes as well. I bought this car locally a month ago but decided I'd best complete a couple other car projects and may not get back to this car for a year or longer. This car really needs to be driven and enjoyed once you sort out the quirks. Please let me know if you have any questions. Clear California title in my name.
