Rehabbed and modified 1974 BMW 2002. Odo shows 49,000 miles, true mileage unknown. Not a show car, but a fun driver that has many upgrades. Same Southern California owner for last 10 years. Car had been in SoCal and Arizona its entire life.
Professionally installed 5 speed transmission, Megasquirt electronic ignition and fuel injection (powder coated intake manifold from a BMW 3 series), battery relocated to rear,electric fan, M3 starter, upgraded alternator, duel electric fuel pumps, K&N filter/aluminum cold air intake tube. Not original engine - was replaced by previous owner who worked at BMW dealership.
Ireland engineering sway bars, stage 1 lowering springs, aluminum radiator (new in box - needs install), Bilstein HD shocks,new bushings throughout subframe and front and rear suspension, Ansa exhaust, short header, front disk brake upgrade,K-MAC front camber and caster strut mounts, strut brace.
Recaro front seats and 6 Series rear seats in German black vinyl - custom installation,new headliner and carpet,Parker performancegaugeswith oil temp, voltage and oil pressure, 5 series rear view mirror with map lights
Staggered 15 inch wheels and BFG tires - front 205/55, rear 225/50
Body work included removing rusted driver side floor pan and welding in replacement pan, replacing passenger door and left fender, custom rear valance for center exhaust, widening of inside of front wheel wells for larger tires, glass out paint job in 2010, turbo style air dam and wheel arches, euro style fiberglass rear bumper, euro style front turn indicators, tinted rear window glass, hidden rally style yellow driving lights, HID headlights
Needs minor cosmetic attention including installing trunk rubber seal (included), door jamb rubber seals need re-gluingin places, a few small flaws in paint.
