This is a 1983 BMW 320i (E21) with a custom satin "Hot Rod" black paint job. automatic transmission. and ice cold air conditioning. It was purchased about about 2 years ago with 117. 00 actual miles. It now has 128. 00 miles and the title reads "117. 00 Miles 02/13/2013 ACTUAL" (not "EXEMPT" like you would usually see with an old car. leaving you guessing how many miles it really has. ) This was on ongoing shop project for a local European auto repair shop. but they lost interest and moved on to building race cars. The car has 128k original miles and is running great. the engine does not smoke and runs smooth to red line. The transmission shifts great with no slipping or leaks. It shows no sign of wear. The car is in good mechanical condition with many new parts and repairs done over the past year. There are many new parts including. but not limited to : radiator. belts. hoses. air conditioning compressor. battery. wiring. etc. The paint job was professionally done and in epoxy and includes inside the trunk. the door jams. etc. This is not a cheap paint job. and the expense of the work alone was $3. 00. The headliner. carpet. dash board cover. and trunk carpet are all brand new. The seats are original and show the appropriate condition for a vehicle of this age and mileage. The suspension is tight and the car handles great and still has the factory height springs. The body is completely rust free. the paint is less than a year old and the car was never wrecked and is very straight and solid. The car drives great and can be used as a daily driver. it has proved to be extremely reliable. The car does has a clean Florida title and is on hand. This would be a great platform to complete the restoration. build into a race car. a Euro Custom or drive as is and enjoy. I bought this car for my enjoyment. and had big plans for it. however plans change and I have too many cars right now. I really like this car. and if my other car sells first it this will no longer be for sale. I am not in a hurry to sell but will entertain any reasonable. intelligent offers.
