Description for BMW 2002 1973

This 73 2002tii, in its original paint code 085 color of chamonix white on Navy, (have printed document from BMW archives stating the original paint code and port of destination) was originally imported to Hoffman Motors in New York, as most of them, and initially made its way to a Dealer in Southern California, it did some traveling about the states, and now resides in Hillsborough California. With general documentation supporting its 74k original mile journey from its early years, till now in California.
This tii is in wonderful condition, with no structural rust, and solid panels throughout the car. All original down to the original steel wheels, and hubcaps. There is a Blaupunkt radio in a box that came with the tii, in the trunk.
DRIVELINE-UNDERCARRIAGE & FLOOR PAN; is solid, the engine, 4 speed transmission, and rear end are all in strong running condition with no eminent leaks or smoking. The engine appears to have been gone through and sorted out, as the rest of the car looks as well. No documentation as to what was done, and a time factor is not apparent, either. The front and rear suspension components have been removed, cleaned, painted, serviced, and installed. The floor-pan is amazingly clean, with no evidence of any structural rust or welding. The rockers are quite straight and rust free as well.

INTERIOR is in very good shape, 2 small cracks on the dash, (purchase comes with a very clean un-cracked dash, if desired), it has a clean un-ripped headliner, NO sunroof, all seats in very good shape, not perfect, as the car has its share of wear and use for 74k miles, the carpet has been replaced, yet is in good condition, has some minor daily aging from wear and tear over the years.

PAINT; vehicle was repainted less then 8yrs ago, don't have pictures of what it was before the repaint, but the existing paint is also in very good shape, with no major issues.

ALL other functioning aspects; lights, interior dome light, blinkers, horn, wipers, doors, and door locks, trunk windows, quarter and vent windows, heater fan, speedometer-ODOMETER are all still working fine.
OVERALL general condition of this running, driving non-garage Queen, is perhaps a 7.5 on at 10 scale, and 10 being a concourse car. The asking price is $45k.
