A superb example of the E24 6-Series coupes, this M6 is a true icon of BMWs performance M cars. Improvements over the base 6-Series cars were M" badges on the front grille and rear decklid, body color side-view mirrors, a rear lip spoiler, larger front air dam, larger front brakes and a 10 mm lowered ride height. With their well-balanced inline 6-cylinder engines, the US M6s produced 256bhp with 243 lb-ft. of torque. In 1987, Road and Track advertised the M6 as being one of the 10 fastest cars in America.
As BMW's flagship at the time, these M6s came essentially fully loaded from the factory with sunroof, power windows, power mirrors and air conditioning.
