Description for BMW 524td 1986

Vehicle Details

For sale my 1986 524TD with an M54B30 swap. The car has 215xxx miles and the engine and transmission have 13xxx miles. Everything in the car works including all power windows, powered seats, mirrors, sunroof, ac and power steering. This is a very clean chassis with very minimal rust ( Bottom of fenders and small section no bigger than 3 inches on the floor, and superficial rust around the rear windshield and driver and passenger door). I will include brand new fenders left and right . All original body panels and paint and carfax reports no accidents. Car has a small hit in the rear left quarter panel from previous ownership. I am a certified technician and I build cars for a living and this is my personal car which tells you everything has been done the right way. Only thing this car needs to make it a bad as machine is a new paint job. Original MS43 ECU flashed for EWS removal and the software was upgraded with the ZHP software and burbling exhaust. Car has OBD 2 port and can be scanned and reprogrammed whenever needed. Glass Moonroof, very rare and expensive. All the parts that I will mention now have been replaced at the time of the swap and they have around 9000 miles, they are completely new OE replacements.

The car runs and drives with absolutely no mechanical issue other than the brake booster that’s started making a whistling noise when you depres the brake pedal. However it doesn’t affect the drivability of the car, the pedal still soft and car stops on a dime. I would recommend replacing the brake booster, but I don’t have the time nor the money to keep on investing in this car. This is my baby and it hurts me to part ways with it, but unfortunately I have other priorities at this present time. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
