Description for BMW 3-Series 1991
Enthusiast Owned. Although the vehicle history report shows only two owners (I assume the records don't date back to 1991). I am the third owner of this spectacular 1991 E30 325i Convertible. I purchased the car from the second owner in May of 1997. In January of 1998 the car was in a minor accident which required replacement of the driver side rear quarter panel. Since I was planning on keeping the car forever. I opted to have the entire car repainted (the original paint was in good condition but I was wanting perfect paint). The paint remains near perfect even after 17 years. The car has been garaged and driven on weekends mostly with the top down the entire time I've owned it. The car was originally sold in Southern California and has remained here since 1991. The car has never seen snow or ice and was rarely driven in the rain. Everything works including the air bag. power antenna. cruise control and air conditioning. I have performed most of the maintenance and upgrades myself. There is not a single door ding. The last smog was performed on 2/7/2014 at 161. 35 miles(a photo of the results is below). I will provide an updated smog certificate if the car is to be registered in California (required by the DMV. seller must provide buyer with smog certificate). Title photo and original window sticker photo appear at bottom of photo array. Please note that the front lower engine cover was removed for photo purposes but was re-installed but not included in any photo of the undercarriage. The upgrades/modifications/maintenance items performed are listed below:EngineWork performed at 153. 00 miles (fall of 2002)Rebuilt Cylinder Head from the Metric MechanicCustom Head Gasket from the Metric MechanicTiming Belt & TensionerWater Pump & ThermostatCoolant HosesBeltsTransmissionThe car was originally equipped with an automatic transmission.
