Offered for sale is one very Original and extremely nice 51 Buick Super Riviera 2 Door Hardtop. Equipped with the Original straight (8) that purrs like a kitten.Optional Dynaflow transmission that goes into gear easily and shifts very smoothly.She starts right up and is ready to cruise! Original 6 volt system. All the glass on the car is in excellent condition. The chrome and stainless are beautiful except for a crack in the eyebrow.This may be repairable? Not sure but seen worse get repaired. I believe all the lights and other items work as they should except the wipers are time period SLOW! The drive train and all mechanics involved seem to be very original.The body has what you call now a days (patina).We painted the top as it had a little to much (patina) for my taste. The body as i said is very straight with only minor signs of some surface rust on the edges of a couple of themoldings. NOT A RUST BUCKET FOR SURE!!! The floors have had some patches but look good. NO holes at this point that i can find. The interior is where most of the TLC is needed. The seats are in great shape. The dash is original and you could sand and paint or leave it alone.(doesn'tlook bad at all)! She does need a headliner,carpet and some odds and ends. I believe you could drive her home!
