Description for Buick Riviera 1967
Hello and happy holidays. this car drives and looks the same. ery STRONG!! it has a 430 rebuild motor. t drives so smooth but with ready power to handle street to freeways no problem. This car belonged to a gentleman who babied this car. always covered up in a garage as a daily driver. he collected numerous extra rare original parts like door panels. windows. center shift knob assembly. a rare GS air filter housing. I can keep going but the point is this guy was seriously invested and ready for whatever needed to be replaced everything is in bins that are defiantly a part of the purchase of the vehicle. you can very much make money on this deal already. {there are collected more than 50 parts ask to send part list} So I personally love the Rivi. I liked this car because I knew it was took care of. he owner had numerous offers from people everywhere but said he would never sell it. The man passed away unexpectedly so his sister. the only other living family member alive got ownership . he didn't know what she really had. only that her brother took great care of his car. I Bought it off her on what think was a high price. but I had to have it. Since I've had it I work as a mechanic. so I right away replaced all tie rods upper and lower ball joints all new bushing kit. new shocks & lowered it 2inches in front and already had a rear manual air bar in rear that lowers it with the gage on the rear bumper. After all that I took off the original wheels and put on some chrome 22" Foosse inspired wheels and believe it or not it drives a hell of a lot smoother but calipers do need to be upgraded. I also aligned the car to spec myself so tires get max life. So all the way around the car looks and is solid. the hideaway lights are in perfect working condition. the seats and windows also work seats tilt all the way back. air conditioner is disconected. also left the 1 Kiker 10 inch w/the amp sounds good but deffinatly needs more sound. there is some minor orange peel on the passenger side but not to bad. white top has been replace by owner and still super clean. but there is a little surface rust accumulating below vinyl top line . see pic for refrance}. The interior is very originally clean seats are great. carpets still original but clean. center council has been customly altered to accommodate the cd stereo I never really liked that idea that was done but as u drive it the placement actually really works but still if I had the time I would of just put it back like original. hide the stereo in the glove compartment and just run a aux cable to my iPhone or whatever for music but time has passed and have just left it. Seriously I break necks everywhere I go and people check it out at every gass station. it will makes you wanna drive it hard in the freeway because of its power but still layback and Cruz it on the street. It's deffinatly a fun car and has made me very happy owning it. and now it doesn't fit in my life and wish to pass it on. thank you for your time if you have any questions please send me an email.
