1962 Buick Skylark Special ConvertibleHere is a very nice looking and clean 1962 Buick Skylark Special Convertible. The motor is a strong running Original Buick 215 cubic inch motor. The 2 speed automatic transmission shifts great! Brakes work fine for manual drum brakes!The interior is in very nice condition! The carpet. door panels and seat covers are all newer and just about perfect. The dash is also in very nice condition and was repaint and recovered! Everything works with the exception of the wiper motor( i have a brand nos one ready to fit). nd the original radio (which I will work on tomorrow) . The car has had a driver quality repaint about 10 years ago. original was red paint. It still shines up and presents well but does have some runs. scratches. bondo etc. The car has no major rust issues but there are some areas that I can see had some body work done prior to paint (drivers door lip. rocker area and rear quarters). There is new trunk weather stripping. new speedometer cable and new shocks. The convertible top is newer and in nice shape with a clear rear plastic window. New convertible top boot! The frame is in good condition! The floors are solid but have had some fiberglass repair in the past that is holding up fine . The trunk is also solid. Tires are 13" and good order on period correct Keystone mags! Spare wheel and jack etc included. This car turns plenty of heads and the bright red interior really stand out on the white paint!
