Description for Buick Skylark 1967
My Dad purchased this at an auction this past summer. He was already planning on taking delivery of a nice Mercury Cougar, ut this was his first classic car auction and he got caught up in all the action. After I saw the car though I couldn't really blame him. This 1967 GS 400 is impressive! It's not perfect, ut it's solid, omplete, nd very powerful. The fact that it's a big-block convertible with A/C makes it interesting too. It is in nice driver-quality condition and we couldn't find any serious rust through. He had a local mechanic look it over and fix a fuel leak. He said the brakes still need adjustment and that it could use a new carb. I drove it around the storage lot and could tell that this thing is a serious beast! This seems like a nice alternative to the more expensive muscle cars. I would want to address the brakes, arb, nd maybe replace the bias ply tires and the just drive it. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. On Dec-20-15 at 21:56:55 PST, eller added the following information:
The odometer shows a little over 9,000 miles, ut I'm guessing it has rolled over once and that the mileage is actually 109k. The car also looks like it may have been at least partially resprayed at some point in the original color. Also it's been brought to my attention that the engine is the 400-4 not the nailhead. Not that the 400-4 was a bad thing mind you.

Someone mentioned that there were no photos of the top. We will try to get some, ut it looks like new so I'm guessing that the previous owner replaced it.
