Description for Buick Skylark 1969
Double what I'm asking invested in this rare survivor so you can save a few dollars in the long run. There are not many of these left particularly with all these options. Its was ordered like a luxury GS in a sportwagon body. kinda like a wolf in sheeps clothing. Anyway it has a rebuilt 455. (note if your a guy concerned with numbers matching original 400 can be bought for 500. 00 additional to the winning bidder otherwise I will auction it later) TH400. rebuilt 323 POSI rear. Newer dual exhaust. tires and disk brakes and other options include A/C. power windows. power locks. AM/FM. power seat. tilt wheel. vista windows. clock. dual action rear tailgate. remote mirror. roof rack. and 8 passenger seating. The Body is very solid for its age. It is not perfect but I have a lot of older cars and this one has held up well. The floors are pretty good until you get to the tire well area in the back where there is some rust. The body is overall a survivor. fenders and front end are exceptional having been replaced with NOS (hood grills. bumper and fenders at least) during a 1980’s resto effort that kept it off the road until 2001 or 2002 when we got it. we put about 50k miles on the original engine before dropping in this rebuilt 455 with aluminum intake and new carb. Since we have had it we rebuilt or replaced almost everything including brakes. lines. front end and rebuilding the posi rear. If you have any questions call 203-631-0184 In closing. this is a great car which can be had at a reasonable cost. a little work and it will bring a lot of summer family fun. I want to be clear about one thing I have described this car to the best of my ability but the car will be sold as is. where is for parts or restoration. Seller may view the car and verify operation as needed by appointment prior to end of auction/ad. I lost my storage unit and cant stand the idea of this car sitting outside so I am gonna part with it. Ask all questions prior to end of listing if you can and I will do my best to answer. You can reach me at 203-631-0184I will cooperate with transport companies if you choose to use one. 1000 via pay-pal or Money order post marked within 3 days. Happy Bidding JohnThe pictures tell the rest of the story but if you have questions just call me at 203-631-0184. thank you.
