Description for Buick Skylark 1967
1967 Buick Skylark GS 400 #'s Matching with Factory A/CWe purchased this vehicle a few years back from a private collector that had the car for many years. The car has currently been off the road for several years now but will start and run. The car is not drivable and will need to be transported after purchase. We can deliver within Ohio or the surrounding states for a reasonable cost or will assist in loading on a carrier of your choice. Can deliver to the Carlisle area or anyplace between Columbus Ohio and Carlisle PA for a VERY reasonable cost. I will attempt to tell you as much as I can about this vehicle and will gladly answer any of your questions. I can try to provide additional photos if needed. I understand that this car will need a complete and total restoration. I am a retailer for many of the restoration parts that are available for this vehicle including the weatherstripping. interior. carpet. wiring. etc. I will gladly wholesale any of the parts that I have access to at my COST! I have set the reserve low enough for someone to get a cool car at a reasonable price so that they can restore it as they want. I have no intention of parting the car. but I also have to be realistic and not GIVE the car away. I truly hope that someone will take the time to restore it! Engine/Trans/Rear:The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner. Not long after he had it back on the road the transmission went out. and is still out. - It will not pull the car and pumps fluid out if you try to put more in. The rear is original and is an open differential (non-posi)Sorry. I do not have the original air cleaner. It never came with the car. Exterior: Fenders look fairly solid as well as the doors. there is some scale. but holes seem to be a minimum. Trunk lid has a lot of rust on the under side. Trunk floor is remarkable solid? The floor pans look to have decent floor braces. but the pan areas will need some work. The frame on the car is SOLID. I saw no holes or flaking. We picked around on the frame to insure there were no hidden "soft" spots. Interior: Bucket seat frames and rear seats are solid Please note correct frames are included but not pictured (from a 67 GTO)All the soft parts will need replaced. However the dash pad is nice. Car is equipped with a console and factory tach!Car also has very RARE speed warning and low fuel lightSo overall all this car needs a lot of work and is not for everyone. I hope that someone out there is able and willing to put the time and effort into this car to make it what it deserves to be. Please feel free to call at 614-563-0877 to discuss any details that you need after you have read the entire listing. Please no calls after 10pm EST. that is 7pm left coast time.
