Description for Buick Regal T Type Turbo 1987
Time to pay attention because this is not a Grand National being offered at an exceptional value price. This is rarer and lighter (i.e. quicker) 1987 Buick Regal T-Type Turbo WE4 model. If that wasn't enough to get you sprinting for our contact info, ust know this is a T-top and A/C car to go with your turbocharged 3.8-liter motor. For those of you who need to know more about this black beauty, et's go through all the details. Buick's amazing Grand National Regals were collector cars from day one. They were a return to the days of when a car company could quietly sneak a few cool cars out the back door. Except by 1987 the Grand Nationals were no longer a secret, ut this one-year-only WE4 still was. They look just like a Grand National. The re-spray of the factory-correct black paint on this one is so new it shines like a mirror, o it has that same great sinister attitude. In fact, he only difference you'll really notice on this car is that it has cool red T-Type badges where you usually saw the GN ones. Also this one has five-star wheels with T centercaps that rival the black paint for shine. But while people might mistake this for a Grand National, ou can shock them when you mention that with less than 1,550 WE4 coupes produced in 1987, t is one of the rarest of the rocket Regals around. The luxury of a Buick reins inside this sports car. That's how you get the cool T-tops with air conditioning reliably blowing cold off a new compressor. There's even power locks, ower windows, ruise control, nd power steering. The gray fabric bucket seats are comfortable and supportive, specially with the addition of a center armrest with cupholders. This has been in the hands of a true enthusiast so all the upholstery is either pristine or replaced, uch as the new "T" floormats. It was hip to be square in the 80s, nd so the instrument panel is full of right angles. That includes the long speedometer and bar-style tach below it. Even the steering wheel has the spokes squared off. Still, he dealer did give this a couple of interesting circles with special the oil pressure and boost gauges in the center console. While all this looks like a completely preserved Regal T-Type, here is one very nice upgrade. The Kenwood AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo also accepts modern Bluetooth connections. But if you want to stay in complete 80s-style, he original radio also comes with the sale. The WE4 package does not alter the beefy 3.8-liter turbocharged V6 that have made the better-known Grand Nationals legends. This one is running in top condition thanks to a recent costly servicing (it's too much to list here, ut we'll be happy to go over all the details with you one-on-one.) Just know that the turbo motor and the quick-shifting four-speed automatic make for an explosive power combination at any speed. In fact, hat makes the WE4 package so special is its quickness. Buick quietly offered this package as a lightweight alternative that included aluminum bumper brackets and an aluminum rear brake package. There's even disc brakes up front and new Cooper Cobra tires at all four corners to keep you well in control of this beastly Buick on the road. This rare and desirable piece of American muscle is so complete it even comes with the original owner's manual. You might have thought you wanted a Grand National. Now it's time to get your hands on something rarer that weighs less and you pay less. A beautiful paradox like this won't last long in our showroom. Call today!!!
