1992 Buick Estate Wagon 1992 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon VIN # 1G4BR8377NW402670 Exterior Color: White w/Wood Panel & Trim Interior Color: Tan / Leather I am the third owner of the car. The previous owner purchased it from the original owner at 65. 37 miles. I purchased it 9/2014 at 66. 79 miles. It now has 66. 30 miles on it. I brought it home and washed it (every little nook and cranny). changed the oil. replaced the fuel injectors. replaced the battery. serpentine belt. flushed the radiator (added new antifreeze) put all new tires on it (whitewalls) and now I want to sell it. I will not drive it or use it with any regularity like I had wished. (Will be driven during test-drive purposes only) I prefer it to be owned by an avid Estate Wagon enthusiast. It has NO physical or mechanical issues that I am aware of. The car has been inspected by two ASE certified mechanics since I purchased it in September of this year. and both times found NO issues. The car was very well maintained by the original owner. And I was informed that it was garaged it's entire life up until the previous owner purchased it. Of course it has been garaged since I purchased it. The car is pretty much immaculate. given the fact of age. I will mention every "little" imperfection that I have detected but this car is super nice. I want to disclose each and every "little" thing just so you. the buyer. will have detailed knowledge and a better understanding before bidding or purchase. Although. what I have and will describe is very minute. The physical condition (see pics) and mileage pretty much speaks for the car itself: the car drives. runs. rides and looks GREAT! It IS great! This is a wonderful specimen and is a source of wonderment to all who happen upon it during the very few times I have had it out. EXTERIOR: Naturally. it has some blemishes due to age but nothing to blink an eye about. There are minor tiny exterior body scratches here and there (tried to get all close up pics of minor blemishes) but no dings or dents - never been wrecked or salvaged. etc. No rust on outer body that I have seen (only a few places underbody - see pics). If there is any. it is so small or in the beginning stages that I didn't notice during the detailed cleaning. The most significant "blemish" is the front bumper narrow chrome-like edge trim (see close up pics). Two of the strips have pulled loose on each end. which is a very easy fix and/or replacement. Another area to mention is the black rubber on the front bumper is sun damaged. Basically. it is slightly worn off mainly at the farthest corners. Another easy fix with products to refurbish or recondition such things. The hood liner is in bad shape and needs replacing. Lastly. the trim around the wood side panels has been refurbished with 3M DiNoc woodgrain vinyl adhesive/sticker. Mind you - NOT THE PANELS - only the narrow trim edge pieces. As any enthusiast knows. these cars are notorious for the peeling and crumbling of the trim pieces; So one of the owners removed and covered all the trim. It looks really nice and brand new. I have the extra vinyl left over and will go along with the car for touch-ups if and when necessary in the distant future. All trim pieces are present and intact. to include every rubber guards on doors. bumpers and corner pieces. INTERIOR: The carpet is clean. however if professionally cleaned it would probably look new. I just never had the time to delve that much into the car. It was close to perfection so it didn't need immediate attention. IMHO. The carpet is not perfect. (although pretty darn close) but could be if given a nice cleaning. Or. as I did. just leave it alone. It doesn't really need it but there are some perfectionists out there. which I can totally appreciate. The front seats show very little wear. namely the driver's seat. No tears. rips. snags or any kind of damage only very minimal wear. This can be touched up with dye and will eliminate any worn or fading areas. I'd refer to the wear as "very minimal". The sheen of the leather is still apparent on the back of the front seats. the back seats and most especially on the 3rd row seat - I honestly don't think the 3rd row seat was ever sat on. Same goes for all the seat belts. They are clean and fully functional. To my knowledge. all the interior electronics are completely intact and functional: radio/cassette player. seats. antenna. wipers. anything and everything that originally operated on the car still operates at 100%. I can't list everything off the top of my head that was standard on the car. but I know that it all operates. The windows glide up and down perfectly and every single function on the power seats are 100% functional. There are no broken or chipped areas on the door panels nor on the dash. all knobs are present and functional. There are no missing interior parts. One of the small ashtrays installed on the rear door panel (driver's side) doesn't want to stay put and falls out on occasion. I don't know what the problem is but whatever it is. can't be too difficult to repair. Maybe as simple as an adjustment or something. I don't know. didn't investigate it due to not using an ashtray since no smoking allowed in the car. Oh. the ashtrays have never been used so I would venture to say that the car is a "non-smoking" vehicle. Also. the same is true with the fuse box cover/door: loose and won't stay put. Again. maybe just an adjustment needed. The headliner is perfect perfect perfect. No stains. no rubbed or damaged nap. not dirty - just perfect. No loose or falling areas. Very very clean. Like brand new. Same for the sun visors: perfect. The sun visor vanity mirrors are not blurred with any sort of stains or corrosion and the lights work as well. Every fitting is perfectly functioning and intact. No cracks. stains or anything like that. The key fob functions perfectly - only one set of keys available. The owner's manual is also present and 100% intact. The vista sunroof visor comes with the car. but it is not installed/mounted. It is also like brand new. so is the extendable back seat/cargo visor - fully functional and 100% intact. I honestly don't think anyone ever ventured passed the front seats. It all looks brand new from the back of the front seats to the rear cargo area. with the exception of a little dirty on the carpet. Again. I believe just needs to be cleaned to restore to looking new. I will not go into any more detail. only to say that everything functions properly on the car both physically and mechanically. The car is not perfect nor mint. but super duper nice. I realize that everyone has varying ideas of perfection. but I am pretty darn picky and darn near a perfectionist so I believe my opinion and description is most accurate to a damning degree. That being said. you be the judge. I have posted 100 pictures and lots can be gleened just by viewing. I don't know the rating and all that sort of thing. but I bought them from a trusted business associate who never would steer me wrong :) Do a quick search to find all the pertinent information. **I want to mention that when I replaced the tires. I discovered that the ORIGINAL factory tires were still on the car!! The tread was very low and of course dry rotted but it was worth mentioning just for the sheer fact of the novelty. and a little back story! I should also mention the spoke rims. they are in excellent condition. to include the center caps. And yes. I do have the lock tool to remove the tires. With everything mentioned. it is quite possible that I didn't include a piece of information that should have been mentioned or something you may have questions about.
