Description for Buick Special 1963
4 door Buick Special sedan with the odd-fire Buick Fireball 198ci V6.Great looking candidate ready for a tune up, a bath, some new tags, and a road trip.Relatively rust free with the exception of a small cancer spot at the seam of the driver's floor board.
Carpets have been removed due to condition, but car comes with new jute padding so you can insulate before you put in the carpet of your choice.
Paint is in good shape, but not perfect, with a few minor blemishes. Paint on the roof shows some age. Definitely not a show car, but looks great from about 5 feet away and gets a lot of attention when I take it out.

This is a pretty great car in what I would describe as pretty good condition. Not exactly what I would use as a daily driver...because not everything has been refurbished, refreshed, or brought up to modern specifications. It's safe to drive, as I drive it locally whenever the weather is nice enough, but I wouldn't trust a 50+ year old car on a long trip unless I personally verified that the engine / trans had been recently rebuilt...which it hasn't.The oil in the block has been flushed out twice to get rid of any nasty gunk, and the cooling system has been completely gone through to make sure the car doesn't overheat.Original engine, trans, rear, body panels, floor pans, dash, gauges, seats, trim...this car is pretty well unmolested. If you're into originality, this is pretty original. If you're into modifying, you won't have to worry about undoing someone else's work. Everything works. Odometer says 64K, but let's just assume that on a car this old it's probably rolled over once. VA lists the mileage on title as exempt due to age.
Take a look at the pictures for a good idea what this car is all about.
This can be your inexpensive summer cruiser, with many of the exact same visual cues, parts, and accessories as the Skylark, but at a significantly lower price point.
Low "Buy it Now" price includes various period correct documentation, manual, and a bunch of new maintenance parts to include gaskets, headlights, bulbs, plugs, and anything else I have in the garage assigned to this car. It's all yours.
