1971 Buick Sport Wagon 4drVERY RARE AND DESIRABLE - Wagon value$ are on the riSE So invest in a nice one like this now !Its not Roadmaster of course. but its the closest thing I couldfind catagory wise for the Sport Wagon. And with 135k original miles. not bad for a 40+ yr old car. To anyone who owns a GSX this car is a no brainer !! Maybeturn it into a GSX wagon / tow vehicle for the next Hot Rod Power Tour !@This already came with a factory rear spoiler !! hahaYes it runs and drives (around the parking lot for now) only becausewe cant get gas from the tank. Its possible the pick up is plugged. For now I have it running off a small container of gas under the hood. Hit the key and it fires right up and very smooth idle. The motor soundsgood and we havent even done a tune up on it yet. NO smoke. No weird noises. It will drive onto a car hauler okay. OUR 100% feedback speaks for itself and many of our feedback are from about 15 cars we sold just this pastyear here on EBay. We put more time and effort into our ads making it mucheasier for the potential buyers to bid with confidence. NOT MANY OF THESE WAGONS left with original sheetmetal still like this one. Seeing as this Is an AZ car. factory AC is a plus and the lack of rust on this car is amazing. It has a few small spots. but any paint shop in the world would be in heaven when it comesto restoring this car. . We try to show all the areas well in the 100+ pics below. Arizona cars are time capsules half the time and the best kind to restore. About 6 months ago we just sold a similar Wagon and it was on its way to the new owner soon after the auction ended. We do all we can to make the process smooth and simple for everyone involved. We dont come across these early 70s wagons often here in Tucson. DRIVETRAIN: it is an original 350 Buick V8 with the optional 4v intake= plenty of power for a daily driver and room for more if you need. The trans feels good and rearend bone stock and all work well. Brakes alsofeel good too. Once you get the fuel problem fixed and put on a set of tires(or some nice rims and tires like the car deserves) its pretty much a road readycar. Car has PS. PDB and factory AC. (Ac hasnt been charged for several yrs)INTERIOR: old and AZ original but it shows pretty well for its age. Honestly. if this car had a new headliner and the front bench seatredone. it would be a fun driver. The rest of the interior is showingits age. but wouldnt need to be redone right away. Even thedashpad on this car doesnt have any cracks. The rear back window isntworking. but when you hit the switch on the dash. you can hear it tryingto move up and down. but it wont move. Hence I cant show pics of thetailgate opened. The 2nd or middle row seating is in really nice shape. A little drybut not torn up and it folds flat like its suppose to. The floors on this carare very solid and no rust. Dr side front window wont stay up by itself. EXTERIOR: originally the car was I believe LIme Mist (Green) exteriorbut was painted the current White you see it now was done actually prettywell back in the early 80s still acrylic enamel. It too is showing it age ofcourse. but I couldnt find any sign of previous repairs or bondo from frontto rear. Its biggest dent now is the LF fender All the glass looks good too. Chrome on the bumpers is even still in really nice shape for their age. All thelights seem to work correctly as well. SUSPENSION: basically bone stock suspension thats been taken careof over the years. No clunks or major noise. but it drives around the parkinglot just fine and Ive driven it around the block too. Im sure it needs bushings and shocks to make a nicer driver. but I haventgone thru the suspension much yet. These cars are hot items rightnow and depending on how you want to restore it. this truck is a great startingpoint for the next owner. esp if you DONT want to spend weeks fixing rust issues.
